ProtoBear regularly produces molds for prototyping and short-run manufacturing. To streamline that process, we developed an in-house modular mold-making system designed to quickly create precise silicone molds for parts of many different shapes and sizes.

The system uses interchangeable panels and structural components that can be assembled into a wide range of mold boxes. This allows new molds to be configured quickly without fabricating a custom enclosure each time. Parts are positioned, sealed, and cast directly within the reusable system, significantly reducing setup time and material waste.
The result is a flexible tool that enables fast iteration during product development. Designs can be tested, adjusted, and recast quickly, helping projects move from concept to validated prototypes much faster.
